Ingredients
· 5 tbsp. custard powder vanilla flavoured
· 3 cups milk
· 4 tsp. sugar
· 1 regular pack cream cracker
· 2 tbsp. coffee decoction
· Chocolate / chocolate sprinkles / chocolate sauce as required to cover the top layer
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, add the custard powder to a little milk. Mix until the custard powder dissolve in the milk to form a smooth liquid without any lumps. Keep this aside.
2. Switch on the gas stove, and heat the remaining milk in low flame. Add sugar to this mixture.
3. Add the custard milk while continuously stirring slowly.
4. Stir for 2-3 minutes and then switch off the stove. Let the mixture cool down. The mixture gets thickened very fast, so you must be very careful. It should have a slightly thick consistency.
6. Dip each piece of biscuit in the mixture for a second and arrange it in a square dish. Layer the base of the plate with cream cracker dipped in coffee decoction for the first layer.
7. Spread a generous spoon of the prepared custard above the first layer. After that, layer another set of biscuits dipped in coffee decoction.
8. Repeat this with another layer while alternatively stacking up with biscuits and custard.
9. Building 3 to 4 layers is sufficient repeating the same process.
10. Grate chocolate, add chocolate sprinkles, or add chocolate sauce or over the top layer of biscuits, covering up the entire cake.
11. Refrigerate the preparation for at least 2-3 hours.
12. Remove from the refrigerator and keep it for about 5-10 minutes before serving.
13. Cut into equal-sized pieces and serve immediately.
