A decadent biscuit pudding with Cherish Marie biscuits

Ingredients

  • 200g icing sugar
  • 100g Margarine or butter
  • 300g Marie biscuits
  • 300 ml hot milk
  • 50g Chopped cashew nuts to decorate
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Cocoa powder


Method

Sieve the icing sugar twice and add it to a bowl. After that, add the margarine to it along with cocoa powder to prepare chocolate icing.

 STEP 2

Pour some hot milk, which has been heated several times) in to a large plate and soak 100g of the Marie biscuits first. After that, remove the biscuits from the milk and arrange them at the bottom of the bowl. Arrange the Marie biscuits in a round-bottom with soaked biscuits. Wait a minute or two to remove let the biscuits cool down.

STEP 3

Apply a very thin layer of chocolate icing ensuring that you cover the biscuit layer at the bottom as well.

STEP 4

Take the remaining 200g of Marie biscuits and soak them in hot milk to fill a thick layer the same as in the second step.

STEP 5

Finally, apply the remaining chocolate icing on the top of the bowl. Scatter the chopped cashew nuts on the top of the pudding for decorative purposes.

STEP 6

Allow the pudding to chill for 30 minutes or more and enjoy.
